Jay Pharoah Impersonates Katt Williams On SNL
By Henna Kathiya
Jay Pharoah pulled his Katt Williams impression out of his vault of impersonations to defend his arrest on SNL’s “Weekend Update.”
Williams was arrested last month in Oakland, CA after getting in a heated argument with actor Faizon Love. He pulled a gun on “The Players Club” actor over a squabble over money. Even though it was unloaded it was enough to cause a scene for possible gun violation.
“My side of the story is that I was being a pimp, okay? A pimp always be pimping. That’s what he does boo boo,” Pharoah joked on “Weekend Update” with Seth Meyers.
“You see I am more than known in this industry as a crazy drugged up maniac. When I pulled a gun on that comedian I swear to god I was so high I thought I was giving flowers to a hippopotamus,” he said.
When asked why he carries a gun he jokingly replies with “Do you see how short I am Seth?”
Jay’s impersonation is pure comedy- nothing gets funnier than a comedian impersonating another comedian.
Williams recently released his new comedy DVD “Kattpacalypse.”
